Store Spotlight: Elated Industries | The Working Class

By The Working Class

Relatively new to Cebu’s fashion scene, Elated Industries is slowly making a name for themselves. This menswear brand currently located at a pop-up shop in Ayala Center Cebu were started by Carlos, Don, Ralph and Mikey, four friends who just wanted to make clothes they can wear. When asked how they started and why, the answer was quite simple. They did it for fun, they did it for themselves, and to have an outlet for their creativity. Although at first there was no clear direction, they decide to go into basic menswear, because they felt most comfortable with it and they want to bring a more tailored approach to casual menswear in Cebu.

In our opinion, that was a good decision because amidst the sea of local clothing brands currently in the market, Elated stands out as they offer button down shirts, military caps, graphic tees, pocket tees, and denim. Not many local brands can boast of such diverse, high-quality and well-tailored products. And all products are locally manufactured and made in Cebu, because they believe and know first-hand that we have the artistry and manufacturing talent to produce world-class clothing. On our chat last Saturday, one thing was certain. Elated is not just a name of their brand. It was also their state of mind. It was their disposition. The passion they have in doing what they love can be seen through how they spoke about their products, about how they shared their story. Happy? No. That’s too weak to describe how they feel. Elated? Now that’s more fitting.
